Trying to understand the Bonsu news, he was to commit last week. Downs is committing on Wednesday to Bama. Is he waiting to be sure that takes place?

I don't think Bonsu is thinking about Downs. He may be fielding more offers. But I highly doubt that OSU is in this

That would be a heck of a recovery from Downs, I know I previously said I didn't see Bonsu in this class but that was before all that recently happened and he is a great player in his own right. And it possibly plugs us in to a pipeline school that regularly produces top players. Would be very excited to see Jayden in this class.

Speaking of a pretty good hit rate, it was a long time ago, but Jack Tatum came from Passaic, NJ in 1967.

Yep, he played both ways in high school, of course, and Woody did recruit him as an RB, he switched to defense while on the freshmen team in ‘67.

Hard to say how he would have been listed if any recruiting services existed back then. But I thought he should be recalled while remembering Buckeye DBs from NJ.

I must be getting old, because my first thought was Myron Rolle…..and apparently he is a 35 year old neurosurgery fellow at Harvard now. Absolutely one of the most impressive young men to play college football in my life time.
