when he re-affirmed, I thought he said that coaches told him they would try him on both sides and just see where he fits better after trial and error. I don't think they wanted to pigeon-hole him in fear of possibly losing him.
He has a unique skill set where he could eventually be successful on either side of the ball playing a variety of different positions. I just hope he finds his niche early in his career and he isn't flipping back and forth trying to find a home. That often doesn't work out for a kid's long term success and/or PT.
I'm just really glad he found his way into this class though bc kid is a winner and could make a big impact in a few years.
