David Njoku (TE Cleveland Browns)

Makes sense...was trading PMs with @ShowMeBuck this morning and said that the list looked like this, IMO:

1A/1B: McDowell/Nnadi
2: Njoku

I think he is the 23rd and final commit in this class.
So as of now we're at exactly 82 without any further attrition. I think we could take 2 more, but probably what you're saying is that you don't see either McDowell or Nnadi committing (which I agree), and then we wouldn't stretch for a guy like Cage. Or do you think 23 is the magic number even if McDowell/Nnadi and Njoku want in?

On a roster devoid of FullBacks, we will need to replace Heurman and Vannet as blockers, unless we are trying to win a flag fb title.
I like this kid but neiter him or Baugh strike me as brutish end line blockers.
We need to adress that in he next cycle.

If you've checked the roster urban had at UF, he didn't exactly have many FBs he actually used. And they're not really needed in this system. Our TEs in this system need to be pass catching mismatches, and block well enough down field to free up our speedy players in space. This is no longer an offense run by Tressell, our TEs must be athletic. If Njoku is to play TE, he just needs to get up around 240's to be fine in this offense(he's currently 215). Baugh is already 245, not exactly small, and both are 6'4. I'd say we'd be fine with both. And 2015 were sitting good with some TEs like Clark and Conrad

What makes this kid so interesting is, will he be a TE and gain some weight or remain the same size and stay lean and remain at WR. He looks like Funchess if he moves to TE, and gains 10-15lbs. If he stays the same size, he can play like Allen Robinson. Either scenario works well for Osu
