Dantonio's Coaching Staff

Here's Dantonio's staff so far from I gathered from the Tribune Chroinicle article:

Mike Tressel - linebackers and special teams
Mark Staten - tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator
Jeff Uhlenhake - offensive line coach
Ted Gill - defensive line coach
Pat Narduzzi - defensive coordinator
Don Treadwell - offensive coordinator
Harlon Barnett - defensive backs coach
Dan Enos - quarterbacks coach
Tim Hinton - running backs coach

Only Ted Gill remains from the previous Cincinnati staff. Also, five of the assistants have coached on teams that won national championships.

Look for Cincinnati to become a mid-level football powerhouse and finish in the top 20 within the next three seasons.

Pat Narduzzi is the son of Bill Narduzzi, former YSU head coach. Bob Davie (former ND head coach) played for Bill at YSU, and ESPN's Mike Gottfried coached under Bill at YSU before landing the Pitt job. Like Tressel, Pat was raised in a football household.

Yeah, and not only do we play these guys next year, we've got them again in 2006.

On the upside -- a second strong D1A program in Ohio will help keep the little sisters of the Big 10 out of recruiting in the state. IMO, it's better for the sleeper guys to wind up there than at say MSU, Purdue, etc.
