Danny 'False' Hope (Former Purdue HC)

On Bill King's radio show this morning (XM91) a caller said that there was a Tressel sighting in West Lafayette. Apparently boiler-up folks were going nuts over this. If I was Tressel I would travel to every college town without a coach just to see the reactions.

He was probably just stopping in to help Mitch with his transition from Governor to President of Purdue. I'm sure he was offering some sage advise on hiring the next coach.....

Yep. As somebody on BTN mentioned, this seems a lot like Minny firing Glen Mason and Indiana firing Bill Mallory. Some would throw Illinois/Zook in there, but that doesn't fit for me.
