It's absurd, no doubt. It's also absurd that Ole Miss, and UNLV continue to use highly outdated and offensive mascots. Not to mention the Redskins. I don't waste much time worrying about any of it. That being said, we'd all be better off if we didn't give a fuck what some third rate community college in Denver has for a mascot. It's so silly to be offended by someone else being offended that it's really starting to get irritating. Does anyone really give a fuck?

What's more annoying is that as a DU alum I've received a ludicrous number of emails asking for my opinion on the fucking mascot (over 2-3 years). The amount of time and effort expended on this shit has been staggering.

Not exactly. I'm tired of people whining about other people whining. I'm tired of people bitching about the attention the media gives to certain things, saying shit like "they're shoving it down our throats", yet a month after the media has stopped shoving it down our throats, they update the thread three times a day. The whining about others whining is becoming tiresome. So much so that the 2nd round of whiners are now becoming far more annoying than the first wave. I'm not really offended. Not sure if you've ever read my posts. Couldn't blame you if you didn't, but I'm not really offended easily.
