My HC came up to me in between classes and said, "I think you'll want to give this to Scotty..."

Scotty is one of my OLBs...a Junior stud, 6'1 200, who ran a 10.57 100-meter last spring.

It was a letter from scUM....

:pissed:

I already have his highlight tape in the works...after a few games, I'll shoot one to Cbus for sure.

Damn, that sucked...

I immediately went to wash my hands...and cuss out the other coaches who thought it was hysterical which then led to an Outback Bowl discussion...blah blah blah.

But I always shut them up with one line..."The difference between Ohio State and South Carolina is that you rednecks celebrate Outback Bowls...we celebrate National Championships."

that has to really blow. you want to be happy for the kid, its a letter from a major d1 school, but is scum :mad2:
