I think Charlie Weis is a good coach too, but if you ever feel the urge to write a blog describing your view from inside Weis' rear, please refrain.

document.write(make_rating_score('forum', '1102899', '', '-1', '60', '10'));

Does anyone else think that Charlie Weis' got even larger in the off season? I'm not trying to be a dick here, but damn dude, whats the deal with the pants up around your shoulder blades?

I think that it is no coincidence that Weis ended up at Notre Dame, especiallly with him being the second coming of Christ and all.........

He may have put on weight. Not hard to do when you have people feeding you wine and grapes all day in South Bend

In the end, it was a grueling, character building; grind-it-out win for a team that is looking more and more like college football's equivalent of the New England Patriots. Of course, that is a reach, but there is that one link that makes it somewhat realistic, and that is, of course, the wisdom of Charlie Weis.
I just inadvertently punched myself in the head after reading that.:tic:

The funny thing about that quote is that had it been Ohio State, the quote would have read "The Buckeyes got lucky and won by less than 7 points again. Why does anybody keep them in the top 5? Ga. Tech aint that good. How can anybody consider Troy Smith for the Heisman after facing an ACC defense and not throwing for a Touchdown? Ohio State looked like the equivalent of the NFL's Detroit Lions. The link is that people in Michigan hate both teams."

It appears that you typed the name of the current Heisman frontrunner when you meant to type the name of the previous one. :wink2:

I found myself stuck on UD's campus for the ND-GT game. Dayton, being a Catholic school, has its fair share of de facto Irish fans. Man did that suck. At my friend's frat house they had the game projected onto a huge screen covering up the side of their house. My buddy and I stuck out like a sore thumb...the only specks of scarlet in a sea of blue, gold, and green. Irish fans are annoying.

A fake punt with the Irish leading 27-3 in the third quarter brought the biggest howl from some of the Penn State faithful, who thought Weis was running up the score.
Hardly. It was an aggressive coach taking a chance to deliver the knockout blow against Penn State, which still had it's starters on the field.
excuse me while i jam a rusty ice pick in my eyes...
