All right, all right, all right.
i have my first meet tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. Its my first year and i have no clue how i will do. 160 runners will be there and 190 meters away from the starting point it bottlenecks to only hold 2 or 3 runners at most.

its a preview meet so it isnt for anything, does anyone have any tips or advice? im nervous as hell not knowing if i should start quick so i can get to the bottleneck or wait behind.

scarletngrey77 alittle advice from CCI, I made all league my senior year S.C.O.L. (south central ohio league) in Cross Country. I always statred fast to get with the lead pack and once u sprint to the front adjust your breathing. I always ran a mile before the race to loosen up and always get a good stretch.

good luck to ya

A little advice from me:
Cross Country is way too far to run. Unless there is beer or naked girls at the finish line, running 3.1 miles just isn't worth it.
Wait for track season to start, run sprints. It's way easier. When spring rolls around I'll give you some advice there.
I can't figure out why my coach said I was lazy .

thanks everyone, i understand the sprinting comment because ive been a sprinter for a couple years in track, but cross country is for the fittest of the fittest and its a great challenge, its hard to find a distance runner that can sprint also so thats a big plus on my part.
