I'm guessing you and I have different ideas about what a gold digger is. A money hungry bitch in general is not a gold digger.
A broke as hell woman, way younger than the man she is dating or married to, is more in line with my accepted definition.
Imelda is lucky she wasn't replaced with a trophy wife long before she bought her thousandth pair of shoes.

Someone digging for gold seems like a definition of a gold digger. Their age and wealth is pretty irrelevant imo... there are plenty of spoiled young kids with a healthy chunk of daddy's money that are still hunting boys for the money.

How about....in general, it is usually younger people preying on older people (hm. loosely defined as at least 15-20+ years difference in my head) with the intention solely of gaining material wealth or notoriety not otherwise obtainable on their own through the avenue of pretending "love" and "emotional support"?
Does that clarify my personal definition of "gold digger?" :)
I don't recall too many older ladies being able to get away with the "gold digger" action, or older men for that matter. There are exceptions to everything of course.
