this made it rounds through wall street inboxes a few month ago. it is an instant classic! the problem is these types of girls are real. you just have to know where not to hang out. hotels and the meatpacking district is where these types tend to hangout.

I live in New York City, Manhattan's east village to be more specific. I'm a 30 year old lawyer so that pretty much means that I work 12 hours a day and am generally pissed on for most of them.

I know this type of woman well. They are the girls always carying around a copy of US weekly and talk on the cell phone at the gym. These women also work as bartenders at Skybar or clerks at banana republic but somehow manage to wear jeans that cost $600.

Have you ever seen Swingers? Remember that scene where john Favreau is talking to the cute actress type girl at the party in the hollywood hills and she turns to him and asks "what kind of car do you drive."

Here's the thing about New York City, it's a total assault on the senses. You can be standing on the corner of 14th Street and 3rd avenue or whatever and see the most hideous, fungus laden crack-whore pass by immediately followed by the a gorgeous, 5'10'' brazillian brunette in tight shorts and high heels. You gotta be ready for anything.

Other "gold digger" haunts: Any one of the W hotel bars, the Prada store in SoHo, the Hudson Hotel on 58th street, Cibar in Gramercy.

Best places to meet drunk 22 year old chicks from New Jersey with low expectations: Fiddlesticks in the West Village, Sutton Place, Niagra in E. Village, Libation in the Lower East Side.
