Cowherd's Mock NFL Draft 11/16

And what's up with no Bobby Carpenter in the 1st round. No way in hell he falls to round 2, but how sweet would it be for the browns to snatch Hawk with thier first pick and then land Carp in the 2nd.

Guess I was a little late with my post, but don't think there is a chance in hell Bobby drops to the second round and how the hell is he a tweener? He is fast as shit and huge. thats not a tweener thats a freak of nature.

"Tweener" b/c he can play down as an end for which he's somewhat small or LB, which he's somewhat big and not as fast as players like Hawk.

I just don't see it. 6'3" 255 lbs. and ran a 4.53 40yrd dash at last years pro day. Thats not a tweener to me thats one hell of an nfl linebacker with the ability to be used as a rush end on occasion.

Shawne Merriman was considered a tweener last year, but he was a DE at Maryland. Check out his measurables.

I see Bobby as a Terrel Suggs, from the Baltimore Ravens.

Hes about 260 and cant be slower that a 4.65, he lines up at OLB and DE, depending on what type of package they are in.

I dont believe those measurables on Merriman, hes at least 265.

I look for Carpenter to put on a show at the combine and push his way into the first round. I also look for Kudla to shock some people with his strength. I would not be surprised to see him go on the first day.

I really think that we could have up to five maybe six people go in day one. Someone might take a reach for Husted, but who knows. Carp is going to fall somewhere between the end of the first and beginning of the second. Schlegel could surprise some people again depending on his workout. Draft day should be a good day for OSU.

Those were supposedly his measureables coming out of college. I didn't follow Maryland at all and got those from scout so you could be right. All I know is I would bet anyone that Carp goes in the first round as long as he's healthy.
