Brees has been adamant they will go for 16-0. Also, I don't believe they've clinched the #1 overall seed yet, so they will definitely be trying to win at least this game.

It's not like we're talking about the Colts, Patriots or the 49ers/Cowboys of old. New Orleans doesn't have this kind of success very often, they're going to squeeze everything they can out of this. They owe that to the city.

Their approach to the game is very aggressive (in contrast to many coaches). I can't imagine them disrupting that just to stay healthy.

Also, they were talking about this on the NFL Network last night regarding the Saints and Colts resting players. One of the guys said that what he going to tell a player lets play you because I don't want to that guy ahead of you getting injured. Also, most teams don't carry more than 7 offensive linemen so the offenses do not suffer that much except if the team did not play their starting QB and I just don't see that happening if your are going for the perfect season and has jwinslow mentioned above the Saints owe it to the city to try and have a perfect season.
