It's a great show. They aren't trying to be too critical of religion; but they do note several times where scientists and astronomers were intimidated and persecuted for discovering realities that are perceived to conflict with the Bible.

I'm a Catholic, but if you believe in the 100% historical accuracy of the Bible over proven scientific research, then you're engaging in defiant ignorance. It's not as if science/religion can't co-exist, but we must not ignore what is right there in front of us.

I was reading about how Neil deGrasse Tyson was going to have a late-night talk show starting in April, similar to his "Star Talk" podcast (it sounds like the TV show will also be called "Star Talk", and will be on National Geographic channel), and I found this line:
