Credible rumors of the same here in Colorado as well. On the bright side, If I'm home for a month or two, I should be able to get an @BUCKYLE level of beard going.Rumor going around here in PA that we are soon to follow NYC and CA in "shelter in place"/martial law
Just witnessed a bank branch run
Line of people 12 deep all taking out as much cash as they could
Whole bunch of salty motherfuckers out there who lost their house, because they lost their job, because of Wall Street bullshit 10 years ago saying "oh now you get it"
You’ve clearly not considered the impact on supply chains due to the run on Doritos and Funyuns.
Went to Smith's/Kroger's for food this morning as a Senior Shopper. Empty meat shelves but had TP. People are hoarding meat now.
Then went to local "organic" market for meat. They had a full case! Got everything I needed.
Bottom line. If you can't get bread or meat at your local Kroger's or local supermarket go to your local "organic" market. You'll pay more but you'll probably get exactly what you NEED.
And Please. Just buy what you NEED for a WEEK!
Flatten the Curve!
Tom Hanks had a Cold....or so he thought.

Well, it's kind of an interesting situation. If the measures taken work pretty well, the cure will indeed be worse than the disease. If they don't, it probably won't. And, of course, what the disease would have done without the measures being taken will remain a matter of conjecture. What will be interesting to me is whether this episode of national hardship, such as it is, finally takes us out of the era of hyper-polarization both socially and politically.Day by day, we continue to see how the cure is going to end up being way worse than the disease.
Unfortunately, I doubt it...finally takes us out of the era of hyper-polarization both socially and politically.
