Not sure if you were being sarcastic, but even slight drop-offs in tourism causes significant hits in the economy state-wide. Additionally, night life here is as important to local folks as it is to tourists. Several well-known established businesses on Oahu have already tanked due to the virus scare, and now many more businesses will go under and those that don't will have to fire/layoff employees in droves, all to try and prevent/mitigate something that may happen and to what degree it may happen no one has a fucking clue. It's apparently going to take a few weeks or months for it to become tangible, but we're shutting down life for awhile guys.
Damn, what exactly do you have against Jack Dawson?Choosing a sex photo of one of the biggest villains in cinema history is an interesting choice.
I will never forgive Rose for her board hoarding.Damn, what exactly do you have against Jack Dawson?
I'm not being sarcastic. It's almost all going to stop. Not sure if you were being sarcastic, but even slight drop-offs in tourism causes significant hits in the economy state-wide.
that's happening already here commercially. There's no may happen regarding the virus. It's happening, and not just to the olds.Additionally, night life here is as important to local folks as it is to tourists. I say it’s 50/50 we have a football season at this point.I'd almost guarantee that school in Ohio will be from home the remainder of this academic year.
I posted something very similar (by the same guy) in the Poli forum thread. Of course, many will blow it off because it was on DailyWire...https://www.statnews.com/2020/03/17...e-are-making-decisions-without-reliable-data/
I don't agree with the tone necessarily but it does do a good job illustrating what we dont understand well yet.
It's apparently going to take a few weeks or months for it to become tangible, but we're shutting down life for awhile guys.
the milleboomer generation? oh my god, what are we creating? the horror!I’m thinking there’s a baby boom in 9-12 months.
100% accurate. You can only order home confinement for so long. But at what cost to society? I'm not talking about economics, although that will become a factor at some point.
Can enough money be thrown around to keep people fed and with a roof over their heads? The paycheck to paycheck crowd - aka about 75% of the work force - are going to need supported sooner rather than later. Otherwise, brace yourself for civil unrest and crime as desperate people take desperate measures.
