Coronavirus (COVID-19) is too exciting for adults to discuss (CLOSED)

Nah, it's ok. I'm not sure what his status was, unfortunately. If I learn anything I'll pass it along...it's a valid question. He was also diabetic, and apparently had the same heart problems that took my dad and my aunt (his half brother and half sister)....so there's that to look forward to. I appreciate the kindness from everyone.

Sorry for your loss man.

Day 2 update. Officially covid + with 2 at home tests confirming. If work wants me to go to a clinic and get one then they can suck my fat dick. They'll let me come back to work with a negative test via at home, but I can't be dismissed for the necessary time to recover with said at home test? Sorry, I'm close to quitting my position and moving on to something else anyway. I work way too many hours to be treated like a child.

Chills have been managed with medicine. Joint aches and pains are still pretty significant, along with the congestion in my head. I can breathe just fine, nose is slightly stuffed but congestion is so bad I'm having light sensitivity.
Aside from a massive hangover, I can't ever remember experiencing that while sick? The fatigue has been pretty real too, I'm just moving slow when I get out of bed.

I can see why this would kick someone's ass if they were overweight, older, underlying health issues, long term smoker, etc etc. The problem is those categories entail a LARGE amount of the populace in America.

Just lost my uncle. I didn't even know he had it till this morning.

I'm sorry buddy, we are living in some weird times.

Sorry for your loss, 27. Fuck Covid.

Day 3. I think late last night into early this morning was the worst. Fever came back with a vengeance. Woke up in such a cold sweat I had to change my shirt and sweatpants. Also, I've always heard the term 'fever dream' but Ive never experienced it until last night. Incredibly vivid, incredibly terrifying and I've tried a "medicinal" dose of shrooms before.
When I woke up it was so intense that I even had that brief moment you occasionally have of not remembering where you were until you orient yourself to your surroundings.

Fever and chills appear to have finally broken now without needing acetaminophen. Joint aches are even a bit relieved. But that last push (I hope) over the hump was a bitch.

Flu or common cold my ass. Get fucked if you claim otherwise.

I used to have those when I was a kid, definitely terrifying, no drug trip can prepare you for them. I had one where I woke up delirious, got out of bed and was wandering around the house lost (it was the middle of the night) and I thought my night light was trying to suck me into another dimension. I used to have a book case in my room too and during one fever dream (these were children's books like Dr Seuss) I could hear all the characters talking and laughing at me.
