The Suicide Wave That Never Was

Last year some people were promoting the idea that there would be a "wave of Covid Lockdown Suicides". That has proved to be just another "anti-lockdown" falsehood.

“There was no wave from March to August—like, none—and we’re quite certain about that,” he told me. In fact, the preliminary data from the CDC show that deaths by suicide dropped by 5.6 percent in 2020 from the year before, reaching their lowest total since 2015.

Suicide rate increased for people of color. Decreased for everyone else. What does that tell you? Yep, if you had your pockets lined with government cash, you kept your oxygen subscription.

Moderna II yesterday. It didn't kill me but it damn sure feels like it tried to.

Holy fuck.
Pfizer II

Day 1 - mild fog, like never knowing why you walked into the next room
Overnight and next day - sharp fever, head pain, upper body pain. Like a kidney stone for my shoulders. Almost died picking up a plastic bag.
Day 3 - mostly fine. Venue where I work is damp and cold, so it's indistinguishable from the fever that lifted.

Wife symptoms were identical.

It was such a bizarre feeling, because at the surface level there was a massive war going on by my immunity system, and if you didn't think about it too much, it felt like we were in serious trouble. But it was also obvious that a foot underneath the very painful surface, my body was 100% fine.

everyone I talk to is having these reactions to Pfizer II...and I'm over here like...'i guess i'm going to die because I didn't even have so much as a headache'...

now, what I want to know is in 6-12 months when its time for my Pfizer booster...can I switch over to Moderna?? i'd rather have a day of feeling like death to know it works than being terrified that nothing happened.
