Coronavirus (COVID-19) is too exciting for adults to discuss (CLOSED)

Something cheap and easy can be a help in fighting Covid at home. (I'm doing it)

Nasal Irragation in Thailand might be a big factor in why Thailand has low Covid numbers.

That does make sense; however, I always thought it would feel like "water boarding". The expensive one with a pump might feel a little less invasive:

Post a link to any reliable source that says sunlight has no effect on COVID.
Good Lord. He didn't say it has no effect. But, I'm pretty sure gesturing broadly to everything would count as a reliable source....since the sun has been there since at least December from what I can remember, and people have still gotten it and died from it.

And to preemptively strike against any other stupid thing you'll come back with that isn't going to any point I'm actually making, there's a difference between people being healthy before this started and people going out in the sun as treatment....which is essentially what the argument is.

My lord this is a terrible article starting at the picture... Seriously look at how far apart the groups of people are. This so fucking insane. Literally, you can tell how far 6 feet is but how tall they are .. my wife and kid and I aren't going to be 6 feet apart.

The article is like, "Well, you know, AIDS is just as dangerous at the beach as it is in a sex club if you fuck without a condom."

90

Even the cluster of 4 people bottom left are what 4x as far apart as they are tall?

You can UVC me all you want and I wasn't at Newport that day, but beaches are often the windiest, hottest most inhospitable stretches of real estate on the planet. Its no barren sand because its easy for things to live there.

All of which is to say, if people are literally staying inside their house with no one near them, as opposed to going outside with no one near them... Please go outside if you are so inclined. This is a stupid conversation.

Stay away from others ( that you don't live with) wear a mask if you can't, and please dont worry about getting infected by some virus fragment on some hot ass sand or in salt water. When you interact with public spaces ( the restroom etc) be aware you may have contaminated your hands (best is to only use one) and disinfect when you leave that space.

My lord it doesn't have to be sound of music top of your private mountain shit.

But for fucks sake, go to the beach if you want and can keep your spacing. (Vitamin D is important too, dont be too afraid of the sun)

JFC. Show us where I or anyone else said that if you have COVID and you go outside you'll be cured, or that it's even a "treatment". I'm saying that if you're outside in direct sunlight the chances of you contracting it are way less than if you're indoors. In fact, the virus in aerosol form last about 90 seconds in the sun and temps at 70 degrees and above, and two minutes on surfaces in the same conditions:
