Donatos Hawaiian pizza rules!!!

The Hawaiian pizza at Donatos comes with pineapple and ham, along with sliced almonds and a sprinkling of cinnamon.
Why is there fresh fruit in the picture? Pretty misleading don't you think.

Who knows, here is what they claim.....

Here’s what makes Donatos so deliciously different:

Fresh, hand-cut veggies. Forget freeze-dried and frozen. From our roma tomatoes and onions to our green peppers, our veggies are always fresh and sliced by hand every day in every restaurant.

If you think their picture is misleading, I think you should bring that to the attention of their corporate office:

Contact Home Office
Donatos Pizza
935 Taylor Station Road
Columbus, Ohio 43230
(614) 864-2444 or 1-800-DONATOS

Be sure to let us know what they tell you..............

I'm curious with the new plan to re-open Ohio, are mass gatherings still banned? Can't seem to find any info on it.

Yeah, 10 person max still. Stay at home remains in force.

Hospital procedures with no overnight stay.. may 1

Manufacturing, distribution businesses first... May 4th (dates off the top of my head)

(With lots of rules)

Retail Stores may 12 (with lots of rules, probably similar to grocery stores)

I think that's the important stuff, see how it goes from there.

US broke under 25k/day new cases yesterday -- a streak that had been alive since 3/31. I was starting to think we'd go all of April at that plateau.
Can't help feeling the timing of certain States puts it all at risk...

Meanwhile, Japan appears to have staved off their Cherry Blossom 2nd wave / reinfection from the West. They peaked at 743 new cases on 4/11. Down to 165 yesterday. A peak of 32 deaths in 1 day.
They are not in austerity or lockdown. But they have 1st world healthcare, sick days, appropriate minimum wage, and didn't offshore all their manufacturing to China 20 years ago.

So glad we could come up with a way to wipe out small businesses and consolidate even more wealth in the hands of a few companies and people 12 years after the last betrayal of the middle class.

They also adhere to guidelines quite a bit differently than us. That's the part lost on the "but sweden!" crowd.

I think it was @shetuck talking about asian countries wearing masks for those around them. That's extremely unamerican.

This is an overused trope imo... that East Asians are mindlessly obedient. Japan is more democratic than US... a vast array of parties that span from dyed-in-the-wool Communists to far-right Wingers. They have counterculture across the spectrum. Accountant by day, punk rocker by night ... openly gay personalities on tv w/o any Identity Politics or Virtue Signalling nonsense around it.
There's a reason I look at Japanese healthcare as the pinnacle - not only do the stats back it, but my personal experience verified that proof.

I apologize if that came across that way, I was trying to praise adherence not subservience, and use it to contrast our gleeful defiance as a primary attribute of being American.

Masks don't protect us, so the motivation to wear them is very minimal.

The only way my compliance helps me is by limiting the hidden germ spread as a community, but doesn't assure protection for me. And the second my red-blooded american eyes sees others not wearing a mask, I'm being oppressed if I'm asked to wear one despite that hypocrisy.

There are plenty who are being cautious, and courteous, and the society you see online is not representative of the whole (though these days it reprograms us to believe it is, and thus start adapting or reacting to it). But our self-oriented ethics and worldviews are very dangerous in a crisis like this.

I work in the IT services industry, I have been instructed I'm allowed to return to the office on a significantly reduced schedule starting May 15.

Probably as needed (for like 2-3 hours/day) and only twice a week. Mask is mandatory.
Better than nothing I guess.

One thing the pandemic has taught my wife and I - we are in piss poor shape when it comes to a home office. Getting on Wayfair to order one later today
