Real "influenza" Type A or B or what most people call "the flu?"
Swab up the nose, verified by the doc, on their death bed, flu. Nasty shit. The oldest had H1N1, but no one else in the house. I think the kids bring it home from school, and then their mother gets it taking care of them.

Given a choice of a sale or no sale right now, which choice usually wins?

Spoken like a guy who hasn't been in the liquor store a mile from my house with Pennsylvanians filling shopping carts with every bottle they can grab, while doubling the crowd capacity in the store forcing locals to wait outside. Then the store employees have to deal with irate customers for days with about 9 bottles of crap on the shelf.

No one who works at that store will miss the Pennsylvanians, and they have no problem selling their inventory without them. That nonsense only started a few weeks ago. They'll be turned away.

I received that same post from an old friend of my dad on FB, and I was similarly obliged to Snopes ‘em up.

I will say, though, that Dean Koontz did really scare me as a teenager with his prescience, in his book Dark Rivers of the Heart with its arc on government surveillance and its power of asset forfeiture.
:scared:
