I was at a party in June where the game was being played in the back yard... after several hours of playing the area where the players stand (next to the hole) was all ripped up... so much for not ripping up a lawn...

When you see triple aim for the center one.... it tends to work out ok

I've heard it called Baggo (sp?) or something like that too. Where was this game when I was in college? Unlike at tOSU, at Fordham you could practically shoot a cannon off in the parking lot before home football games (except for Homecoming weekend). This would have been perfect...

Everyone I've met has two initial impressions of this game (I'm included):

1. What a stupid game! You just throw these stupid bags into that stupid hole???
2. What a stupid name! How can you feel good about yourself when you want to play cornhole???

Everyone I've seen who has played the game has two final impressions of the game (I'm included):

1. This game kicks ass! I think I'm going to spend the $40 in plywood, paint, fabric, and of course, corn to make my own set. There's no better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than to drink beer and beat your friends at cornhole. Which brings me to the second point....
2. What a stupid name! How can you feel good about yourself when you want to play cornhole???

I first played it a year ago at a family reunion near Cincinnati (cornhole capital of the world). And yes, I've already heard the jokes about playing cornhole at a family reunion. I made my own set and introduced it to some people up here in Cleveland. Many of them have now made their own sets as well.

A buddy of mine suggested an official Cornhole slogan: Bad name, great game.

Is that what they want to be called, now? I guess anything is better than the "Queen City."

I like this slogan: Great game, now go get me a beer, bitch!
