Greetings, Buckeye Nation.

I bleed Maize and Blue and as such don't expect to be welcomed here with open arms. Nevertheless, I'm compelled to congratulate Ohio State for not only a great win today, but another outstanding season of football. You guys played one heck of a football game, and completed the task with an exclamation point. Kudos, and best of luck in Glendale -- you've decidedly earned it.

As a die-hard Michigan fan I'm not particularly fond of the Buckeyes, but you definitely have earned my respect -- not only for your consistent performance on the field, but also the heartfelt wishes extended by members of this forum who paid their respects to Coach Schembechler.

Despite our differences, it's a pleasure to be part of the greatest rivalry in all of athletic competition. The spirit will never die.

Awesome post and thank you I have much respect for the Michigan football program you guys played one heck of a game. All the Michigan fans at the game I had no problems wih and the ones that i talked to had no excuses, just we got outplayed

WOW a classy UM poster, never thought we would see that!

UM played a hell of a ball game today - and should fair well in the Rose Bowl! Today is the only day that i root against TSUN - i want you at your best when we play you and i want you to win bowl games to make the Big Televen proud!

Thanks, but our defense didn't perform as expected (or advertised). I'm not trying to take anything away from your win nor trying to make excuses, I just don't think we held up our end given all the hype attached. We could have played much better than we showed today. That being said, our kids poured their hearts out on the field, and it was undoubtedly one of the most enjoyable games of the season.

Anyone want to buy an ulcer? :wink2:

there are regrets on both side -- though ours are not as painful as those in Ann Arbor.

I'd love to have the third quarter over and not be giving away the ball every series. a pick? that never happens. a fumble on the 10? Merry Christmas, Wolverines.

I think Tressel's gameplan may have had something to do with the Wolverine D's struggle ...

but again: great game and good luck in the Rose Bowl. make the Big 10 proud!

I'm sick about the loss, I really am. Kills me that we'll be adding this game to the list of 1950, 1969, 1973, etc. and we came out on the losing end. But I'll add my congrats. Michigan played well enough to win, but OSU played better. I'm not gonna hang my head over it.

There is no reason for either teams to hang there head. That was one of the best games, I have had the honor to watch. (Okay, I admit it, I was worried...for a bit.)

I think each of our teams played with a lot of heart. You can't find fault in that...


(ooooo and I hope for more JUST like that one. :) )
