Two for the price of one with this story printed in the Sentinel Online. This is as close as you come to witness intimidation. Also, for those that remember Logan El, Larry Johnson Sr can really pick them.

Thursday night the Centre Daily Times newspaper reported that an anonymous letter was slipped under the door of the apartment.

The occupants, Larry Himes and Joe McGarrity said that a third roommate found the letter.

According to the paper, the letter asked the students to ?drop the charges? against the football players and the writer added; ?I am sure that the coaches want to know exactly what happened and it would be good for all of you to discuss everything so that any ambiguity is washed out. Then the coaches will be able to punish the actors accordingly. There is contact information at the bottom of this page for Tim Curley, the athletic director. He would be able to set up a meeting of this sort if you would like.?

?I want you to realize that you have the power now to press charges or to drop them,? the letter continues. ?Legally, the ball is in your hands. However, you can be a hero in this situation and forgive the attackers for what they have done.?

After the text is complete, the contact information for Curley was listed. According to the CDT, he could not be reached for comment.

The letter was signed ?the voice of the Penn State student body.?
