Confirmed: Ohio State names new golf coach

This is an excellent hire. The team said Oklahoma State were always pretty good and with our facilities that should help him get some quality recruits. We have been down for a while because things were getting sort of stale.

Coach Brown kinda dug himself into a hole. He was losing some quality recruits b/c of he had a bit of a reputation. That's over now though. Like I said above, I expect good things in the future.

I don't follow college golf, but, how the [censored] does Oklahoma State of all places have the top golf team?

they had a hell of a coach who is now the AD. they have incredible facilities. they actually have different practice greens with all different grasses to practice on for tournaments in different parts of the country.

I'm so Happy for Donnie. I went to River View High School and Coshocton (where Donnie went) was one of our rivals. One of my best friends from Coshocton Trent Maxwell (Head Pro at Windmill Lakes in Ravenna now) had a brother (Kelly Maxwell) who set many records of which Donnie broke. Donnie had a great career at Kent as well, and I'm glad to see him coming home to the Buckeye State. GO BUCKS!!!
