Ok since we are baring our souls here, and the Carpenters have been brought up. My first concert ever was the Carpenters. I was in the 4th grade, I went with my mom and our neighbors. It was not my choice, and I do not listen to their music, but I was there on the lawn at Blossom. Reminds me of the car singing scene in Tommy Boy.

I also have a soft spot for Motown. Stevie Wonder, Jackson 5, Earth Wind and Fire etc. That being said I stand by my earlier commentary on all things Clarkson.
