Compressing videos

My Sony Cybershot DSC-P10 takes video clips as well as regular photos. I have taken some great clips lately, one of the Northwestern Skull Session and another just now of my cat Scarlet and her 3 wk old kitten taking residence under my chair. :) However, the video clips are 60 mb and 70 mb, respectively. How can I compress those? Is there a free program I can use?

Videos will turn out pretty big. Yeah you can compress them, just drops the quality. I would use something like ulead visual studio.
