Comparisons between LSU v OSU defensive personnel

ray6072;1045096; said:
shouldn't it really be LSU O vs tOSU D and vice versa?

I would imagine that most people (correctly) assume that is what the game-thread is for.

Side threads like this are for discussions that delve into levels of detail beyond things that actually affect the game.

For a "real" answer to your question though, you might want to send a PM to the person who started this thread.

Interesting,

LSU has played
No. 9 Virginia Tech
No. 12 South Carolina
No. 9 Florida
at No. 17 Kentucky
No. 17 Auburn
at No. 17 Alabama
No. 14 Tennessee

OSU
No. 23 Purdue
at No. 25 Penn State
No. 21 Wisconsin
at No. 21 Michigan

yeap, no difference in those schedules...

So your argument centers around what the teams were ranked when you played them? :slappy: You seriously can't be that stupid, can you? Alabama? South Carolina?

That factors in LSU, who we have yet to play. This does have us at 75, but LSU isn't all that much higher at 57 so I don't know what he's squawking about....I never do.

College Football Strength of Schedule From TeamRankings.com

This has us at 44, with LSU at 26. Either/or, LSU's schedule is not that much stronger than ours...as much as some might like to believe it is.

Here's this again since you convieniently ignored it earlier and chose to continue on with your idiotic SOS argument. But then again, i'm sure you won't let little things like printed facts get in the way of you making a total fool of yourself. Please, no more posting until you've finished your science homework son.

I believe it was people on this board that claimed OSU/Michigan game was a great game last year because it was #1 and #2 team in the nation. Humm, how does that work?

Well those people are morons. It was great because it was ohio state and michigan. It was a bonus as we're were billed as the top two teams in the country and the winner got the NC game. Even before the bowl game, who's result we dont speak of, I wouldnt've given up that ticket for any NC...regardless of the result, and regardless of OSU/UM's ranking at the time.

Oh. My. God. You wear a lot of velcro don't you? How in the blue hell does that have anything to do with this year's strength of schedule (that you keep bringing up)? Stop fucking deflecting everything...or better yet, stop fucking posting. My brain can't take much more of your insipid drivel.

God I wish somebody would ban your worthless ass. You contribute nothing, and are little more than a somewhat subtle troll. Geaux away.

Florida is the best team LSU has played this year. OSU is probably the 2nd best team slightly ahead of Auburn. Do not mistaken superiority complex with just having confident in the LSU play makers.

:slappy:

Yeah, and LSU is also the 2nd best team OSU has played, just ahead of Wisconsin and just behind Michigan.

Be confident in your LSU playmakers...sure. Worry about Leslie shooting your team in the foot though. And all JT needs is him to make a few bonehead calls, then the jugular...seriously, I think we have a tremendous advantage on the coaching front, despite their "playmakers".

Can an LSU fan post an honest assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of each of the Tiger starters on both offense and defense in your eyes based on the games you've watched??

It doesn't have to be a novel or anything.

For example, What I am hoping to see would be something along these lines, here's what I would write about a Buckeye:

S Kurt Coleman, So. - Kurt took someones job in the spring and has not looked back. With an early career reputation of being a big hitter, he's a guy you wanna keep an eye on if your an opposing receiver. Kurt will pinch in and help against the run and he will definitely be a part of the blitz package a few times a game.

So yeah, nothing too long just a quick description of the type of player the guys are would be great.
