Mine varies greatly from day to day, depending on whether it's raining (believe it or not) or accidents/stalls on the freeway. I live only 15 miles from base, but travel time varies between 15 and 60 minutes (it's usually 20 to 30). When it rains here, even a drizzle, the fuckin' locals slow way down (most barely drive the speed limit in the first place) and shit backs way up. And if there are any fender-benders or stalls, the worst rubber-necking you've ever seen breaks out. Fuckin' stupid locals...

Mine depends on what time I leave. If I go to work at 0600, then it will only take me 10 minutes. If I go to work at 0800, then it will take me 45 min to 1 hour. The trip home usually takes about a half an hour to 45 min. The traffic here is a bit of a culture shock, but you learn to blend.

The rain/fender-bender delays happen here as well. I just don't understand what's so fuckin' exciting about a fender bender that you must slow down and screw up traffic to get a good look.

My trip is about 17 miles, and it usually takes 45 minutes. I listen to a Philly station (WMMR)- their morning guys, Preston & Steve, are hilarious.
