That's more like it. Post more nationally televised ones that everyone can relate to... You lucky bastards in Ohio all agreeing with each other are making me sick. Everyone has a Glen Lerner in their town. And by Glen Lerner I mean:

Not as dumb as the people who think they can eat what they want, sit on their ass, take Lipozene, and lose weight.

The commercials that drive me crazy are the jewelry businesses that blatantly undermine a man's intelligence. I wanna say Jared and maybe JB Robinson in the Dayton area are the main offenders. The commericals usually say something along the lines of "You don't know what you're doing when it comes to buying jewelry, so just go to so and so." Thats pretty close to the message. When I hear that, I think "You insult me and expect my business? Don't think so."

Direct TV commercials get on my case sometimes too, but not nearly as bad. I understand they're going to try and beat the competition down, ie. the cable company...but...on two occasions I've purchased PPV content through Direct TV at a friend's house. Once was Wrestlemania and maybe boxing, and a storm caused us to miss the main event or most of the show. While a storm may be an act of God...that cable company has yet to let me down, and in the end they save me more money through discounts...so tough titty. They've been airing this commercials more and more lately, I'm not a fan of negative advertising. Present the positive points of your product, don't blow smoke up my ass, and you have a better chance of winning my business.

Finally, Apple commercials...I can't remember the last time Apple did a commercial where they weren't negatively portraying a PC. They over-hype PC problems, and some of them don't even apply to the average user. As it stands I can't run almost all of my games on Apple, I can't run any of my coding software on Apple (Except for maybe Java). iTunes is slow. I know Linux has emulators that can be used to run Windows based programs, I'm sure Apple has something similar...but the question is why? I need Windows for work, I need Windows for games, and I don't get viruses or other crap in Vista (Which works excellent for me) so theres no point in using anything Apple.
