yea so it is pretty nice out these days, and i was checking out the new ridiculously priced north bank condos going up downtown, but then it had me wondering what was all available downtown and around columbus. after a while i just made up my mind that i wanted to hit up the drive in at some point and time and visit the parks, either downtown or around columbus. i have no idea what are some of the good parks or scenic locations around columbus so i figured i might register the idea with some people who might have some experience. i have drove by goodale park but that is really about it. i know columbus has quite a few parks and a couple large ones, so if anybody has any favorites, i want to go check them out in some free time just to take it easy i guess.

I regularly run at Blendon Woods and Sharon Woods parks in the Westerville area. Blendon has some nice wooded paths with plenty of wildlife. Blendon also has a FROLF/Frisbee Golf/Disc Golf course that I've heard is pretty good. Sharon is more of an 'activity' park and has a large pond/small lake in the middle of it... lots of shelters and paved paths to walk/run on.

I've also been to Three Creeks in the southeast part of the county and it is nice for running/roller blading/bike riding.

Try visiting either Berliner or Goodale after dark. :sneaky:
