Yea this season is over they are in a complete tailspin. They had a nice run to get back into contention but it wasn't going to be sustainable

Dead franchise. I was once a season ticket holder. Cancelled 2 years ago. They call me occasionally….I now just laugh at the caller. Then say thanks but not thanks. Gotta give them credit, they keep calling.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure the coach stays for next year or if he is the right guy after all. Assuming he is the right guy…..then there is something seriously wrong with the makeup of this team. We need new leadership on the team. I’d ship off Johnson and Jenner. Actually, I’d tear it all down and build again. Best guess is 2028 for a real playoff run.

I don’t know if Bowness will be back. I do think the team we saw from January through the end of March is closer to this teams potential.
They just had too big of a hole to dig out of. Add in a couple untimely injuries to the high energy guys like Severson (which is what really sunk them in my IMO) and Olivier and there you have it. I don’t think Jenner is a problem if he’s third line or lower.
They’ll have like 48 million in cap space. Sign Fantilli, extend Z. Trade Elvis for a bag of used pucks and sign a top-6 forward or two and they’ll be just fine. It’s not the time to blow it up when they are this close.
