I have no idea if this site is correct or even if I'm reading it right; however, it says the Jackets are $9,574,999 under the salary cap. If that is correct, then they could potentially add a good player or 2.

They "blew it' last year by winning too many games at the end of the season and not getting the highest probability for the eventual #1 pick (i.e. Auston Matthews).

Heading that list is Brandon center Nolan Patrick (6-foot-3, 195 pounds), who many project at this stage to be the No. 1 pick next year.
