Columbus Blue Jackets (Official Thread)

If Toronto loses (they're down 2-0) they are eliminated.

Washington is winning so they would not be eliminated yet, but with the NJD losing yesterday, all the CBJ need now is 2 points to clinch since they'll own all the tie breakers with Washington. Win in Dallas and it's all over.

Leafs down 3-0 with like 10 seconds to go.

Win in Dallas and you clinch (with Washington only being able to catch Detroit since they have 90 points)....

But then we can get greedy and look at seeding. If the CBJ finishes strong, they may be able to get out of the #8 seed and avoid Boston in Round 1. The CBJ do not control their own destiny regarding the #8 seed--they could still be the #8 seed even going 3-0-0. However, given how Boston's looked this year, the CBJ would have a better chance of winning their first playoff game if they could avoid Boston in the first round.

You can be greedy about seeding - I want my Wings to play the Pens right at the moment
