My son has been friends with the guys from Watershed and Dash Rip Rock for years (and so, also the Dead Schembechlers). I've met Watershed several times--good guys.

My son also has his own (semi-pick-up) band, The Bottoms, that plays around town from time to time.

JerkWater Jive. Played at Little Brothers and Barley's all the time in the late 90s, and even played on the local stage at the Warped Tour in either '01 or '02. I knew a few of the guys in the band.

True dat. I've seen Hookah many times over the years (South Heidelburg, Not Al's Rockers, Chelsea's, Ruby Tuesday, The Newport, Hookahville, etc.)

Anyone remember Men of Leisure?

yep, yep and yep... I would venture to say we have been in the aformentioned bars at the same time and not even known it...

We arrived back at BKB's parents house one night, entered through the family room door, headed up to BKB's room, a member of EH was with us.. I heard BKBs' dad exclaim, "what the hell was that that just walked through my family room" (referencing one of the band members.)

was friends with the bass player too, Cliff. Actually, back in HS, Cliff, Steve and I were in a band together (a Grateful Dead cover band) for a few weeks or a couple months. Those two were worlds more talented than me... obviously they went on to play for a living, as one could easily predict even then. Hell, even now, some 15 - 20 years later, if I played as well as I do now back then, I'd still be the least talented of the bunch.
