The recruiting problem I think is Deion showing he wont hesitate to throw a whole team overboard.
For low 4* and 3* guys (guys Colorado still needs to rely on) it's all about development, you probably aren't going to get that development at Colorado. If you go there for 1 year then after that Deion decides he's "going in a different direction" again you just set yourself back big time as one of those types of players by having to go elsewhere and start from square 1 again.
That's the big problem with coming out guns a blazing with a ton of transfer portal moves left and right, it's gotta be a big turnoff for HS recruits.

And allowing an above average WR to look like the next coming of Randy Moss! Ayomanor only had 2 other games even over 100yds, and had 6TDs all year. 3 of them against CU! So about a third of his receiving stats for the year were against CU

NW's improvement this year was worlds better than Colorado's even though none of the talking heads will give them the credit.
NW was just as bad as CU last year, they had quite a bit easier schedule too. Including losses to a 5-6 FCS team and 6-7 Miami Ohio squad. Colorado didn't quite have losses like that
And they didn't get a fucking whole roster changeover like Deion did at Colorado. People want to forget that the CU team rolled out by Deion this year was basically a whole new team.

I think he’s trying to run a CFB program like a team in Madden. But really, he seems to be trying to run his program like some type of NFL style, and use the portal as his free agency. But there can’t be any continuity or brotherhood from taking 1yr mercenaries annually. And his sons will be gone next season(and they could lose Hunter this year ). There was so much buzz about Prime, that people kept forgetting how bad they were in ‘22. I remember people at work asking me weekly if I was going to watch Coach Prime and CU(this lasted from the off season until middle of the season), and I always looked at them crazy and said I’m not a Colorado fan, I’m a Buckeye fan. I could care less about a loud mouth coach of a terrible team. And i had to remind a number of people that this was just a 1 win team last year. Well, once the Ls started piling up, then the questions ceased, and those casual fans went back to not even remembering who Coach Prime was or where Boulder was

Can’t even say it’s even close to the team from last year in reality. The roster turnover was so crazy it might as well had been an expansion type team starting from scratch to use a NFL comparison. That’s why I laugh every time someone tries to mention “Deion did this with a team that won 1 game last year!” No he didn’t Deion brought a damn whole new team with him. He didn’t come in and work magic with a group of guys mostly from that 1 win team
