This announcer is a fucking moron. It doesn't matter if he's touched by a defender on his way out of bounds. Once he touches the out of bounds line, the play is over, so if he had possession at that moment, it's a catch. I don't understand how else you can interpret the rules. How did we get stuck with with these two neanderthals calling the game, anyway? They've been horrible throughout.

They totally misinterpreted that rule on the catch. The purpose of the "continuation rule" is to confirm total possession when in contact. In that case Spencer had the catch (control with one foot in), made a football move (took another step) and went out of bounds during contact. Then he fumbled while going down. Possession was already established as well as the "football move". Should have been a good catch.
