Was I the only guy nearly vomiting every time Gus Johnson creamed himself during the Ped come back? I couldn't understand where he was coming from with his angle that the Pedsters were coming back from some sort of tragic circumstances. Like they were Marshall returning from the plane crash.

I mean, hey Gus. It was tragic, for dozen of little kids you dumbfuck.

One of the talking heads on Around the Horn, Jackie MacMullen, actually came out and said it live on TV: "The idea of an 8 team playoff isn't going to happen because the NCAA and the current bowl system don't want it." No one on the panel disagreed. Time to grow a pair of hangy down things Mr. Delaney. Protect your conference.

I'll be honest, a small part of me wished scUM had gotten the #4 seed instead of Washington. For starters, I think they'd have a better shot than the Huskies, who I expect to get rolled, of making it a competitive game vs Bama. Those two beat each other up and the Buckeyes get whoever survives. Let's not forget the howling that would've come from Crappy Valley with scUM and tOSU in and B1GCG winner PoSU out. It would be even more epic. :evil:

Of course, there could be downsides. A berth may benefit scUM in recruiting, they could possibly win the title, and it would potentially render THE GAME meaningless in the end (this season). So it probably worked out for the best. Two more Buckeye wins and it will become unbeatable. :cool:

1970, 1975 are examples when rematches cost tOSU national championships. There are other non-OSU examples of rematches costing teams NCs too, FSU 1996 and LSU 2011. Don't ever want to see that happen with a team that tOSU beat. But I will be singing a different tune if the result of the game was reversed.

It's the FCS playoff, but 4th seed James Madison is ass raping undefeated 5th seed Sam Houston 65-0 in the 3rd quarter. :yow2:

I can only suspect our 4th President has been upset about something Sam did or did not do while serving in the War of 1812, and is meting out punishment 200 years later.

They shouldn't have expanded the playoffs past 4 teams.

Madison has been fantasizing about it for years but I never thought he'd actually do it. I figured it was just Chet's blow talking, or macho bluster to impress Dolly. Disgusting.
