So in the middle of the SEC Championship game, CBS runs a poll designed to influence the selection committee. "Which team should not be in the Playoffs?"
Guess who got most of the votes from the SEC fans?
Blatant politics with the Playoff Selection just the next day.

Unless Washington is brought in as the #4 seed (behind OSU), the message the committee will be sending is schedule cupcakes for your out of conference games, hope you get favorable cross over games in conference (I talking about you Pedo) and slide into the playoffs.

Washington penalty must be "we are letting you in, but you have to face Bama"

Everyone forgetting precedent as well.. see Bama vs LSU... Bama didn't win the Conf or division... and lost the head to head... - "yes that was BCS" BSC was still 2/3s people the rankings back us up. I believe we are in. If we are out.. lord have mercy on whoever we play

The rules are different for Bama.

At this point, nothing will surprise me re: OSU and PoSU. My prediction? I think they're going to leave us out in favor of the cult.

in the past 2 years.... who's the only team to take them down... US... the rules are different for Bama and US..... ESPN, NCAA, CFP - Want $$$$ you dont get Money from Bama cake walking to another title... OSU vs Bama = eye balls and money.... OSU vs Clemson = eye balls and $$$$ .... Washington != either of those ... PSU = eyeballs because of the cult..

the committee will send a message this year... Best teams does not have to be the Conference winner... Best teams play strong out of conference schedules

Woke up today and to be honest yeah I don't feel good about it. ONLY reason is the ground swelling that has been pouring through social media and through the media itself.

Sort of ridiculous if you ask me but we will see soon. Most of the prime national talking heads have repped us though so I think it will certainly be close. I just keep coming back to they aren't going to put Washington in and push OSU out.

The committee can send a message on 1 of 2 things though. We will penalize for losing games especially games by 40 or it could penalize for playing garbage OOC.

I don't think they're going to penalize a team for having one loss which was close and on the road at night. Especially when that team stepped up and scheduled a big OOC game. If so the message is either A) Sorry you should've went undefeated even though the team we picked has two loses or B) We appreciate you playing in Normal at night but yeah thay was totally unnecessary
