The ref blew his whistle and the clock stopped at 12. By the time the clock SHOULD have started I figure 3 seconds would have (should have) run off. Then a quick 10 yard pass or run to the middle to set up a FG.

Clemson was at the line ready to snap and the linesman was still outside the hash marks holding the football. Clemson was set to spike with only one second run off.

It looked like the clock stopped for an instant but then restarted while the ref was still spotting the ball. WTF?

More than 9. He was down somewhere around :12 to :14. Enough time to pick up another 10-15 since Bama is going to protect against the TD.

14 is when the receiver hit the ground, so technically the game clock should have been paused there. However, it ran off a few more seconds, and at 12 seconds is when people took notice

Clemson definitely outplayed them the first half. Not by a lot, but they have a shot here.

I don't see how you can't say they are favored. Bama hasn't shown a consistent answer for Watson. Clemson's pressure has gotten enough TFL's on Coker to help negate Henry's nice day.
