Probably so. My anxiety doesn't let me enjoy any part of the game as long as my team is in it. The weird part is, I don't really get upset if they lose. I get much more nervous watching a game that is truly meaningless to me than I ever did playing in games.

Edit: I do enjoy it if Bama is blowing the other team out. The game against ND is the most fun I have ever had watching TV.

My solution has been to record close games. I only watch them after I've checked the final score. (Part cowardice, part because I harbor the belief that I'm a jinx. Butterfly effect and all that.)

I can identify with your ND game--ours against Wisconsin last year was never boring, and a blast to watch.
