....and you also have WARM WEATHER...

Uh, it gets pretty frickin' cold in north central Florida...there are many days where it is below freezing. Granted, it's not as bad as Oklahoma, but it's not exactly 70-80 degrees all year round either.

Besides, being in the SEC vice Big 12 increases your chances of getting beat a time or two during the regular season, which doesn't bode well if you want to win a national title.

like losing to a sub .500 okie state team in 2001, a 6-6 A&M team in 2002 or losing by 4 TD's on the conference championship?

USC will wax OU in the Orange bowl, Auburn will beat miami and then everyone will be crying that the wrong matchup happened again. yet next season they will still have ou in the top 5.

So you're telling me it's just as hard to run the conference table in the Big 12 as it is in the SEC? Time for you to put the bong down...

You are right, Gainsville itself is not all that great. Can you tell me Norman is that much more? I am sure Norman is great, but 3.5 million can go along waY in Gainsville.

Well, he was Fla's DC for a while... I'm sure he knows which one he likes best... and maybe Mrs. Stoops doesn't like Norman... you never know.

never said that in the least. just pointed out that the increased liklihood of losing a game shouldnt be a factor since ou only loses to teams that they should beat easily.
