Colin Cowherd (Official Ass Hat)

I particuarily do not like him. For some reason he likes to come to Columbus to do his radio show. However, on air, he likes to bash us. I think he is rude and a bully. If you notice that about 90-95% of the callers that calls in, he disconnects because they start arguing. The only way he can think of an answer is to disconnect them.

Lean towards hating him, but can't help but listen to his show (maybe because its the only sports radio on at that time).

He's spot on thinking he's the Howard Stern of sports radio. Arrogant and annoying most of the time, but I'll still listen.

Quick to back down...miscontrues facts for his benefit (ESPiN)... quick to sterotype people based on geographic location

I actually love Colin Cowherd. Aside from being very entertaining, I think across the board he is pretty reasonable and objective. The one I thing I can't stand however is the fact that nobody mentions tOSU has beaten every team on our schedule we were supposed to beat, the same cannot be said about the teams ranked ahead of us in the preseason T-25. Oh, and don't get me started on "team speed". Yes...we played bad in ONE game since mid-2005...now all of the sudden our players look like Ivy League FB players. Please!! A Bad game plan lead to indecisions and apprehension...not lack of athletic ability.

Go Bucks!!

He was saying this today. This is one of the reasons that I don't like him. He is comparing this years team to "one" game played last year. I would like to hear what he has to say at the end of the year about schedules. Our remaining schedule is 20-7. I ran LSUs remaining schedule (becuase in order to be good we have to beat a SEC team ) and it is 16-17.

They play La Tech (3-5) and Mississippi (2-7). These two teams would negate Akron (3-5) and Washington (2-6). The only other team that is hindering us is Minnesota (which we had to play because of conferance). Even then, you can say that Tulane (2-6) and Minnesota (1-8) is a wash because LSU was almost losing to them at halftime.

Anyway, I think that our schedule's are very similar in talent and records.

i do enjoy his show most of the time, he is creative with his topics, etc. but i def. agree that he is a bully to callers and anyone who voices an opinion not similar to his own. i do listen to him on an almost daily basis. however, while on the subject, can anyone else out there absolutely not stand listening to steven a smith?? the mike tirico show needs to last the extra hour or whatever so i don't have to listen to steven a smiths arrogant ass.

Love him. He is entertaining. He sometimes annoys me, but I get over it.

The one thing I like about him is that he is more real than most sports radio personalities. He straight up says it how it is:

"We cover things that cause higher ratings"

When he bashes on the Big Ten and tOSU, we listen in. When he talks about the Yankees, it causes higher ratings.

He goes with what raises the ratings. And, he is the first person to admit that.

He actually challenges people and their beliefs when he feels the need to. Just yesterday, he challenged the "SEC is really great" belief. He explained that parity does not always equate to great teams.

Granted, he may have been grabbing ratings (Probably was), but when he needs to state a claim, he supports it with facts.

Plus, he bashes on Michigan, a lot. That is always good.

He's more like Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly as opposed to Stern. He ends up being wrong on 75% of his viewpoints. Plus, his cultural references are really dated and unfunny.

He calls out men who are cool in the heels (much to the offense of men that are cool in the heels).

He's is the type of guy I would go fishing with or kick back a couple of brews with, easlily.

Great CC Line - "Reggie Bush is like cleavage...I just can't stop staring at him when he gets the ball"

In the heirarchy of ESPN radio

Worst to Best
Steven A. Smith - Simply awful
Tirico - He is like auditory Valium - having Tirico's show last another hour would be like being placed in purgatory with earphones on.
Colin Cowhers - Sharp, Abrasive, Cuts off Dumb Callers. Fills air with his opinions, overall good stuff, don't believe he believes half of what he says - but he isn't boring.
Mike & Mike - best of the lot IMO, more humorous than any of the others and the Odd Couple schtick still works after all this time.

i like the fact that he hates michigan, but what he likes to call "facts" are just his opinon. he reminds me of what stephen colbert pretends to be but of the sports world, he only uses the facts when it helps his opinion

He talks for four hours a day on the radio... being wrong often is going to happen to anyone who oozes so much opinion. As someone mentioned earlier, he is by far the most reasonable among all mainstream media- therefore my affinity. Just because he doesn't always speak perfectly of the Bucks doesn't make me hate him. In fact, he typically mentions them near the top when talking about perineal powerhouse programs.
