Cockroach Control

The best thing to do is a combination of procedures. Bug bomb the place, spill boric acid in corners, under sinks, etc, put out roach hotel type things and change them often. I had good luck with the attractant/poison that is like a brown caulk in corners too.

Preventative measures like sealing up as many holes to the outside and you can think of is helpful but they can still come thru walls and such. Keep food off the counters, keep your dry goods in sealed containers not the original cardboard packaging, they eat thru it. Take your garbage out everyday.

Find out if your neighbor is having problems. No matter what you do, if they don't do the same, you won't be accomplishing anything but a constant beating back, never a win.

If it gets real bad, professional exterminator time but since you live in an apartment, call your manager for that. You shouldn't be expected to pay.

I love the smell of napalm in the morning ! You know, one time we had a kitchen bombed for twelve hours, and when it was all over I walked in. We didn't find one of them, not one stinking roach body. The smell -- you know, that gasoline smell -- the whole kitchen -- it smelled like victory.

Roachie don't surf!

At my old apartment my neighbors moved and my place was suddenly flooded with roaches. So when I moved the woman and I talked and we put some of my stuff into a garage and nuked it with bug bombs and let it sit for a few weeks but most of it we just trashed because it's damned near impossible to get rid of the bastards.
