Coaching changes: coaches hired and fired, comings and goings

really? Indy went undefeated, barely rotated players, and didn't seem to have many injuries.... unlike us that seem to wear down due to lack of rotation.... Micks been here forever... sometimes things need to change to freshen things up
The strength coach isn't why hicks, beau, and others were not playing.

It was last year that they were on fire late in the year. Because they had great talent and veterans who had been through a lot of wars.

Maybe they need a new coach, maybe not, but mick would suddenly coach a lot better if you gave him a senior Arvell, Caleb, mcdonald, etc to work with. And his 2026 secondary might look better with the vets they added compared to if they only reloaded using faheem, haddad and Scott.

yes, the average age of the young men he is training certainly was a factor. 23-25 yr olds vs 18-21 yr olds is a definite advantage

sorry I wasn't implying that guys weren't playing because S&C coach... I wasn't even implying that they weren't rotating because of that ... I was implying that maybe we need a refresh on the S&C side because its stale ...

I think it's a little bit of a few things...

They have NFL style depth at a lot of positions lately. Wr, dl, lb, with enormous dropoffs to the next level (albeit at lb they have the talent ). They also had a few coaches with NFL approaches to depth.

What I could come around to agreeing upon is where the floor of the DL talent is... Which is close to what you're arguing. You're not going to consistently have bosas or Youngs, but there are a lot less tyquan lewis types at DE these days. Who is far from the floor, but the point being there are a lot less pretty good DEs lately.
