I could see this working out. Neither have won anything of note but made playoff appearances. Same same with no need to raise any expectations at PSU.

Agreed. He’s an awesome hard nosed coach that knows ball. Him in the NIL era will benefit him very well.

I disagree. Pat’s issue was never competitiveness, it was him being at NW . He lacked resources and is a difficult place to recruit and win at consistently. But he really excelled with what he had to work with.
Him with NIL resources, bigger school name, and still having connections to the Midwest will serve him very well. If he can get a solid staff, this will be fun to watch him beat up on Sharlene Moore.

Fitzgerald at MSY just creates another one of these blue collar type programs with the same kind of coach.
