Coaching changes: coaches hired and fired, comings and goings

Yes, in fact that's the film I had in mind when I made that comment.

It's terrible. But it's so terrible that it's strangely impressive in an inexplicable way (similar to how the "Dazzler" got fired from CSU in 2 seasons).

This guy breaks down how it's so bad that there's something kind of good about it pretty well:

It's so bad it's good.
By the way, unless, by some act of Providence, we play you guys, best of luck in winning that Natty, and, as a first step, tomorrow.
Our daughter, like the wife, a graduate of Miami, took an M.S. in conservation ecology, from Athens.
In Ohio, it is Miami. The other one is "Miami of Florida."

Well, I misfigured that Fick would be in South Bend and felt that he could pull a lot more due to his Ohio history, coaching Cincinnati, etc.

I agree with that assessment though. Fick would be a monster in South Bend. I think Freeman will be excellent, too, but I'm happy Luke stayed in Cinci for a variety of reasons. Ohio State's gig is Luke's if Day decides to accept the dump truck full of cash the Bears are probably going to offer him.

I am not advocating for Day leaving.

Agree. I just hope that Fick is available should the unthinkable happen……
