Quick thoughts:
What happened to JT's vote?
Apparently the Bowden didn't hear that OU beat Mizzou TWICE this season. Bobby had 5. Mizzou 6.KU 7. OU Tommy had 6. Mizzou 7. KU 10. OU. Fucking Geniuses.

What do you mean about Tressel? He's on there.

Tressel's top 5...

1. Ohio State
2. LSU
3. USC
4. Oklahoma
5. Virginia Tech

Bob stoops shows the most self-serving results of any coach

1. OU
2. OSU
3. Mizzou
4. KU

Beamer gave us the lowest ranking of anyone at #4, while he thought his team was the 2nd best in the country.

Les Miles thinks the SEC has 6 of top 15 in country (while the aggregate of all voting coaches only has 3 SEC teams in top 15)

Something that I've noticed is that Howard Schellenberger (Florida Atlantic's coach) always has an interesting vote. This year was no different.

1. Ohio State
2. Kansas
3. Hawaii
4. Mizzou
5. LSU
6. Virginia Tech
7. Oklahoma
8. Georgia
9. West Virginia
10. Boise State

12. USC
16. (Not rated in final top 25)
21. Florida (team they played a couple games ago -- lowest vote the gators got in the coaches poll)

Sometimes I wonder why they don't use more coaches from mid majors (though I think they have pretty good representation already). They might be the least biased.

Football coaches to keep poll ballots secret starting in 2010

The final regular-season ballots in the USA TODAY Coaches' Poll will no longer be made public beginning with the 2010 football season, the American Football Coaches Association announced Wednesday, a decision that surprised some coaches.
AFCA executive director Grant Teaff said the change is part of the process of "making our poll the best poll it can possibly be." The adjustments were made based on the results of a three-month independent study by Gallup World Poll of the voter selection process and voting procedures. Gallup recommended the change because confidentiality leads to a better poll, according to Teaff. "Why do you have booths for people to vote in?" he said.
The final regular-season ballot for 2009 will be made public, however, and individual voters still will be free to comment on their votes at their discretion.

Now they can fuck the last final regular-season poll results to plug their conference into the BCSCG and not get any blowback. Imagine if the 2006 UF-Michigan scenario happened again and the votes were not public - it would be a deal with both teams left out of the top 50 depending on who the voter was.
