While the act of defacing a memorial mural is certainly despicable, the placement of said memorial mural within a 'free expression tunnel' is idiotic and asking for it, imo. Surely a more appropriate locale for a memorial can be found.

This was not a permanent memorial - she just passed away on Jan. 24. It was a mural in her honor in, what appears to be, a very tradition-filled tunnel. I'd guess NCSt. will create an official memorial sometime in the future that is permanent.

While I agree execution is over the top a major league ass whoopin' is in order. Something about watching your mother and aunt slowly die while fighting cancer for years just sticks with you.

I hope someone turns these fucks in, and some form of justice is served. If they're college students, expel them. They're too fucking stupid to graduate, anyway.

Again, no problem with expulsion and some form of pain for them. But the "I hope they die or their loved ones die the same way" shit was just too much to let slip by.
