NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) -- A newborn baby abandoned in a Kenyan forest was saved by a stray dog who apparently carried her across a busy road and through a barbed wire fence to a shed where the infant was discovered nestled with her litter of puppies, witnesses said Monday.

I read about this on the front page of Netscape. it was pretty neat the dog even took the baby back to it's litter of puppies to care for it.

I guess this gives a whole new meaning to "were you raised by wolves?"

Actually it says more about the humanity of dogs... or as Mark Twain so elequotently put it, "Man is the only animal that can blush... or has a need to."
